Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZanziStaff (the "Platform") at zanzistaff.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and ZanziStaff ("we", "our", or "us").

2. Eligibility

ZanziStaff is intended for users aged 18 and older. By registering an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

4. User Roles

ZanziStaff supports three user roles:

• Staff — hospitality professionals seeking employment, subject to a monthly subscription to access the Platform
• Hotels — hospitality businesses posting job listings and reviewing applicants; hotel registration and job posting are free
• Administrators — ZanziStaff team members who manage approvals, payments, and platform conduct

5. Subscription & Payments

Staff users must maintain an active subscription to access Platform features. By submitting a payment, you agree that:

• Payments are made via Bank Transfer, Mobile Money (Tigo Pesa, M-Pesa), or Cash
• Receipts are manually reviewed and approved by our administrators, typically within 24 hours
• Subscription periods begin upon admin approval, not upon payment submission
• Approved payments are non-refundable; rejected payments will have the record retained but access will not be granted
• Providing a false or forged payment receipt may result in permanent account suspension

Hotels are not required to pay a subscription to use the Platform.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or applications
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications or affiliation
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform's systems
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the Platform without permission
• Share your account credentials with others

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (profiles, photos, CVs, messages, posts). By posting, you grant ZanziStaff a non-exclusive license to display that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service. You represent that you have the rights to all content you upload and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

8. Verification & Identity

Staff profiles may require identity verification (NIDA for Tanzanian nationals, passport for international users). We do not guarantee the accuracy of any user's self-reported information and encourage both parties to conduct their own due diligence before entering any employment arrangement. ZanziStaff is a connection platform and is not a party to any agreement made between staff and hotels.

9. Limitation of Liability

ZanziStaff is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, income, or data. We do not guarantee that you will find employment or hire suitable staff through the Platform.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

11. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its name, logo, design, and software, is the property of ZanziStaff and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or an in-app announcement. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the courts of Zanzibar, Tanzania.
